Hayfever getting to you this Spring?

Hayfever 2015

With hay fever season in full swing, we wanted to give you some pointers in reducing the allergens in your home.

Allergen avoidance is an essential part of allergy management strategies. By avoiding or reducing allergens, positive steps can be taken to reduce or remove the allergens within the home – helping to reduce symptoms for allergy sufferers.

Studies have shown that by reducing the allergens around the home, the severity of the reaction and amount of medication needed to control allergic reactions can be dramatically reduced.

Chem-Dry has recently undertaken a series of tests on our cleaning methods, specifically testing its ability to reduce allergens within the home.

We tested common household allergens: cat dander, dog dander and dust mite allergen and our independent laboratory concluded that Chem-Dry’s Hot Carbonated Extraction cleaning process removes an average of 98.1%* of common household allergens.

Chem-Dry can also remove an average of 89.0%* of the airborne bacteria in the home, which can significantly help to reduce allergens and the effect they have on allergy sufferers.
