Chem Dry Vs. Steam Cleaning

Which Carpet Cleaning System Will Provide your household or business with a Cleaner & Drier Clean

The difference is clear to see

Through low pressure application our patented carbonating solution applies crystal clear carbonating bubbles to clean carpets, upholstery and fabrics, which then actives our unrivalled carbonating power and literally explodes soil, dirt and allergens from the carpet fibres to the carpet surface. This carpet soil and dirt is then extracted and swept away forever.

Steam Carpet Cleaning - Longer Dry Times, Surfactants & Dirt Attracting Residues.

Chem-Dry’s carbonating carpet cleaning process uses a fraction of the water of traditional steam cleaning. Our patented carpet cleaning process leaves your carpets cleaner, drier and healthier than steam cleaning could only ever dream of achieving.
Carpets which take more than 4 hours to dry after being cleaned can be a breeding ground for bacteria, mould and mildew.

Steam Cleaning (Soak & Suck)

Steam cleaning (otherwise known as hot detergent & water cleaning) is the process of injecting water at high pressure into your carpet and backing. The water is then immediately extracted and sucked back out, leaving any remaining water left on your carpet and underlay.

Steam Cleaning (Soak & Suck) is highly reliant on water to clean your carpets, however this unbalanced cleaning approach can result in over wetting your carpets and longer drying times. A high pH carpet cleaning solution is used by steam cleaning to make cleaning your carpets easier and a 2nd clean is then applied to neutralise the carpet cleaning process. Deviations from a neutral pH based carpet cleaning process may cause colour changes on the tips of the carpet fibres.

Don’t push allergen, bacteria, dust mites, dirt, pollutants and soil back down in the carpet underlay.

If surfactants are used in any cleaning process and are not completely rinsed away, they can create dirt attracting residues. We clean with crystal clean carbonation rather than surfactants, therefore our carpet cleaning process doesn’t leave any dirt attracting residues on your carpet.
Should dirt attracting residues become imbedded in your carpet, this may result in spots re-appearing.

Wetting Already Wet carpets – Don’t Flood Your Carpets

Consider the implementations:-

• Inconvenience to your household (disrupting your daily routine)
• Downtime and lost revenue

Next time you think about getting your carpets steam cleaned, think again choose Chem-Dry - the dry carpet cleaning process.
