Franchising - Is It The Career For You?
If you are thinking about owning a new franchise business, then there are some considerations you must give some thought too before starting out on the journey itself. Operating a franchise is not an easy "get rich quick" scheme, it requires as much hard work and dedication as any other new business venture. The main advantage is that, by entering into a franchise agreement, you obtain the benefit of support from an organisation with marketing, business management, technical and training expertise, whilst retaining your independence and freedom to maximise your income.

Ask yourself the following questions?
There could be several reasons why you may decid a carpet cleaning franchise maybe a desired future career, whether it's a desire to be your own boss, change your career, or it maybe due to redundancy. There is no doubt franchising has a wide appeal. Your previous career history counts for very little, business franchising is unique and what counts is application, attitude and the drive to succeed.

Rick & Kevin provide some insights into franchising and running a carpet and upholstery cleaning franchise business:-
Rick comments "franchising" is different to traditional business formats, therefore it sometimes takes people some time before they fully understand the process, but when they do it can be phenomenal!. Franchising has given me the opportunity to work with some interesting and diverse people both in the UK and around the world and to share in their success. After nearly 21 years in the business, I have definitely got the franchising bug and it's what keeps me going".
Kevin recalls an instance which an individual who, as a 19 year old with a vision, initially started his Chem-Dry franchise from his own bedroom at his parent's house. He now operates and manages, (along with his wife), his very own successful franchise in the North West of England, based in purpose built premises. He now of course has a home of his own, and now employs his father!
